Protect Ten Mile Creek

Dear County Executive Leggett,

The Stormwater Partners Network, comprised of 22 organizations devoted to water quality protection and restoration in Montgomery County, has worked closely with your administration on clean water initiatives in the recent past. The Montgomery Countryside Alliance seeks to conserve the economic value and rural landscape of Montgomery’s Agricultural Reserve. We have appreciated the support of your administration in recent years for the protection of one of our County’s last, best creeks: Ten Mile Creek in Clarksburg. Ten Mile Creek is part of the Little Seneca Reservoir backup drinking water supply for the greater Washington, D.C. region, and as such needs added protection.
